Tax compliance and filings with the Mexican tax authority

Filing on time is not a virtue of the firm: it is the minimum condition. What changes between one firm and another is whether you learn the number early enough to do something about it.

  • Monthly income tax and VAT returns
  • DIOT and the period's informative filings
  • Annual corporate return
  • Provisional payment calculation with a year projection
  • Handling of tax authority requirements and clarifications
  • Temporary import VAT under the IMMEX regime

The number before the date

I send you the estimated tax for the month before the payment date, not on it. A corporate office that needs to authorize a transfer from Japan cannot learn the amount with hours of margin across the time difference.

IMMEX and temporary import

Temporary import VAT has its own treatment and its own certification. If your company operates under IMMEX, handling the credit and the certification is part of the normal close, not an extra quoted separately.

When a requirement arrives

I handle it myself, with the file I already have built. Most are resolved with documentation from the close itself, as long as the close was done expecting that a requirement would come one day.

Next step

Tell me how you close today

A twenty minute call is enough to know whether I am useful to you. I will tell you what I would do differently and what it would cost, with no obligation and no sales pitch.
